The NCGOP is pleased to announce a statewide New Media Training Tour, which will seek to educate and equip candidates, activists, and Republican leaders in the importance and utilization of new media tools such as Facebook, Twitter, and blogging.

Gone are the days when campaigns were won merely on television, radio or newspaper. The age of new media is here, and it is incumbent upon Republicans to use these tools to help elect conservatives throughout North Carolina.

To that end, the NCGOP has coordinated to arrange several training sessions around the state this summer. Below you will see a list of dates and locations, and we hope you will spread the word to your friends and colleagues. The sessions are free of charge and no RSVP is required. Each event will last approximately two hours and cover a wide range of material, from basics to advanced usage of each new media tool. You will see examples of how successful Republican campaigns are using new media to change the face of elections. You will learn how to put Facebook and Twitter to work for you!

We are honored to welcome two new media specialists to our training tour: Jessica Wood, with Majority Connections in Raleigh, and Nathan Tabor, with TCV Media in Winston-Salem. Both are dedicated Republicans who are excited to meet with you at the upcoming sessions:
