TODAY’s 2-Part plan!

A new strategy for change in Congress from TEA Party Patriots.  It’s an easy 2-part plan:

1) Force a rules change in the House to allow a “rank and file vote” for chairs of the committees, not leadership appointments of the committee chairs, and

2) Call Senators today to insist YES vote on EARMARK BAN!  We have to start somewhere. Senator Mitch McConnell is leading this charge in the Senate.

C A L L   B O T H    N O W !

To affect real change in Washington, we must take action today.  Even though the Freshman in Washington have not even been installed yet, they are still being assigned committee positions and the Party leadership (Pelosi, Reid, McConnell, Boehner) will be deciding all the important leadership and committee assignments by Friday this week!!  The Constitution allows for the rank and file vote of committee chairmanships, not leadership appointment.  After the Nixon / Watergate scandal, Congress changed the way committee leadership is determined – appointment.  Let’s make this first step together in returning our government back to it’s Constitutional design.  DEMAND A “RANK AND FILE VOTE” FOR COMMITTEE CHAIRS!!!

I don’t need to explain the problems with Earmarks, do I?  Tell Mitch to get his votes together.  Even if the Democrats or RINO Republicans keep it from passing, at least they have gone on RECORD AGAINST BANNING EARMARKS!  Ask your Senator today to vote YES to BAN EARMARKS!

About Christine

I believe in the CONSERVATIVE principles and values of the Republican Party as they are written, and not how they are currently practiced by today's RINO's. Smaller government, lower taxes, more personal responsibility, states' rights, free market capitalism, and less government intrusion in our lives!
