It’s almost Christmas!!!! Let’s have a parade!
11/26 – Float decorating at my parents house on Taylorsville Rd. 2pm until we get it done. If it’s raining Friday, we’ll do it all on Saturday before the parade. We can meet downtown around 11am.
11/27 – CHRISTMAS PARADE, Line-up at noon. Parade begins at 2pm. Downtown Lenoir. We will have a truck and trailer float with children riders. Six-year old Keren Bennett will be reciting the opening lines to the Declaration of Independence on the float. We need lot’s of people (adults, teens, and kids). We can have as many people who want to walk with the float walking with the float!! 🙂 Who wants to carry the Caldwell TEA Party Banner and walk in the front of the truck and yell “Merry Christmas!”? Dress warm and bring a small flag to wave. I hope to see everyone there! Theme “Through the Eyes of a Child”.

I’m very involved in things with my children, and am very dissapointed that we missed the Christmas parade! I remember a time when the parade always happened in the MONTH OF DECEMBER! Why does the community not post flyers around town annoucing such a joyous and fun time for the kids and familys as well?
