Short on votes, National Debt Commission delays decision.

On Obama’s charade project, “National Debt Commission”, wants to cut the debt by raising taxes on everyone without calling recommendations “tax increases”. Among them are: ending ALL TAX DEDUCTIONS, a 6.5% VAT, and a punishing15-cent gasoline tax! Simpson and Bowles need 14 of the 18 members to vote their way before the plan goes to Congress for a vote. Neither will compromise their darling “tax increases” and will to make the people suffer further.  What about that “shared sacrifice” of Obama’s lofty speeches??  We didn’t spend all this money.  In fact, we protested strongly and organized against Obama’s $3.8 trillion spending spree over that last 2 years!!!  We didn’t want Bush’s TARP either. We voted many of the big spenders out of Washington, and we will do more house cleaning in 2012. The problem seems to be with spending cuts. They just can’t agree.  But remember, they don’t call tax increases on the people, tax increases.  I say, if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it’s a duck!!!  I call them tax increases that will crush any immediate recovery.

Some spending cuts. Reduce congressional and Whitehouse budgets by 15%, saving $800 billion.  Cap the number of federal appointments at 2,000, saving $100m. Cut federal travel budget $400 million.  Reduce voluntary UN contributions by 10% saving $100 million. Reduce wasteful spending at DOJ $1.6 billion. Reduce earmarks $1.6 billion.  All totalling $200 billion.  DO THESE TODAY!!!!

House May Block Food Safety Bill Over Senate “Error”

Ooops, all revenue bills must originate from the House, says the US Constitution.  This is no small oversight from the Senate, we all learned this from SchoolHouse Rock!  Therefore, the Republicans are considering a procedural move to dump Senate bill 510 (S.510).  YES!!!  If the Dem’s are gonna disregard “the rules”, then yes dump the bad bill!

Smithsonian Christmas Season Exhibit

Surely you’ve already heard about this story on the radio, well here are the sicken pictures from the exhibits.  Look at the pictures and leave them a comment!  Nearly every comment I read was outraged at all the pictures.  Words cannot do this exhibit justice.  Call your Congressman, too.

This is our government hard-at-work enriching our lives. The artists have every right to produce such garbage, I mean art, but not with 65% federal taxpayer dollars!! Let them get private funding and use private facilties for their “art”.  By the way, that is a disgusting exhibit and not Rated-G. How could a parent take a child through that exhibit??

Union Drops Health Coverage for Workers’ Children

SEIU (Obama’s favorite Union) will end coverage of 30,000 children!??!?!  What? How can this be?  Obamacare legislation promised to guarantee coverage, bring down premiums, and give access to everyone.  Oh and, according to Obama “if you like your insurance plan, you can keep it.”  What happened here??  REALITY happened. He lied!  You can only keep your coverage if your employer keeps the plan, but when the employer or union can’t afford to plan any longer, you don’t get a choice.  Now these will be covered under a state health program.  That’s the dirty little secret that Obama, Reid, and Pelosi repeatedly denied.  We knew this would happen.  Unfortunately, the Obama Zoombies didn’t think this would happen.  Read the Bill.  Learn the Reality!

One last thought… The government has made all of our medical records digital.  Yes they have already done that, they started early last year.  The gov’t promises it will be kept private.  The TSA said the bodyscans are not kept, saved, archived or viewed by anyone except a single remote TSA agent, and yet celebrities have had their bodyscans released on the internet. The TSA has obviously lied about their capabilities and scope.  Julian Assage has released 340,000 TOP SECRET documents, thus far, on the internet. How can we trust a government with our private medical records when they can’t even keep TOP SECRET information secret anymore?

I have lost confidence in this government.
