“Learning the Truth About Education” by Robert Owens

I’ve been saying for a long time that public education is the root cause of our current state of affairs. Once students, citizens are uninformed on civics, are unable to use critical thinking skills, are apathetic, and are immoral. Why? Because our public schools made them that way. It’s part of the plan. PLEASE Read this piece and understand the details.

The fundamental importance of BASIC education is greatly connected to our success.  I am hopeful about classical education. I would like to see it adopted more.  Primary grades: Grammar, Rhetoric, Logic. Then Secondary grades: adding Math, Music, History (with political and military context), Geometry, Astronomy, and lots of biographies giving context to human behavior.   The basics!

My advice: Homeschool your kids if you can, or send them to a decent private school.  I didn’t say expensive private school.  I have educated by daughter in some very inexpensive privates schools, worth 10-times what they charged.  Don’t base quality on tuition price in private schools.

About Christine

I believe in the CONSERVATIVE principles and values of the Republican Party as they are written, and not how they are currently practiced by today's RINO's. Smaller government, lower taxes, more personal responsibility, states' rights, free market capitalism, and less government intrusion in our lives!

  1. Dal Benfield says:

You’re on to something positive. It’s obvious to me that schools have turned their focus to sports instead of academics. They will never improve until that focus changes back to academics, as it used to be.——————-But, do you think that will ever happen? 12-04-10
