MEETING tonight at 5:30 at the Caldwell County Library regarding the Republican proposed state budget cuts. Hosted by a union sympathetic, local group called “NC Residents Concerned about Budget and Public Education.” A quote: “Help us save North Carolina jobs and our children’s education!! There will be an information sharing session concerning what is currently happening in Raleigh with the budget and legislation concerning public education.”
Join me in disputing the misguided, big budget info. See the ad below. It says it’s open to anyone, but they didn’t think the TEA Party would come. 🙂
See the email that was sent out regarding this cause. North Carolina Association of Educators (the teacher’s union) is spending millions to stop the budgets cuts. See their NCAE email demonizing these issues and make wild emotional arguments to protect their big gov’t cash cow. “If anyone needs further proof the new General Assembly is out to destroy public education….” We all know the legislature is not out to destroy public education! It is quite the contrary, as they are taking great care to keep all teachers.
