Two Actions deserves Americans attention
1) Help Undo Net Neutrality Order
Up to now, federal government agencies have kept their collective hands off of the Internet. But that is about to change with the Federal Communication Commission’s Internet-regulating Net Neutrality (NN) order set to take effect on November 20. Unless, of course, the U.S. Senate is successful in blocking the order when they vote on Thursday, Nov. 10 on S.J. Res. 6.
The U.S. House of Representatives voted last spring to overturn the FCC’s net neutrality rules –( put in place by a 3-2 vote of a five member panel) — with a 240-179 vote. The Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee Fred Upton (R-Mich.) called the FCC rules “a brazen power grab.”
The FCC’s NN rules would require disclosure by broadband providers of their network management practices and terms and conditions and would prohibit them from engaging in “unreasonable discrimination,” meanwhile giving the FCC huge oversight and decision-making authority. In basic sense, the FCC is trying to control free speech, mute free speech, and mute dissent against bad governance. Glenn Beck had previously exposed the FCC Czar, Mr. Lloyd, saying in effect that it would be a way to silence conservative speech or Obama critics much like the clearly unconstitutional discriminatory anti-free speech “Fairness doctrine”.
This would establish the government as Internet police who could micromanage and prioritize Internet traffic, thereby influencing the market, stifling investment and innovation. Building new networks would become risky because the FCC could disallow them in the end, forcing job layoffs and closing down new companies.
The concept of government-controlled “net neutrality” certainly comes into question, says the Electronic Frontier Foundation, given the FCC’s history of preferring lobbyist’s demands to “individual civil liberties.” Let’s face it; natural market forces work best. Government interference always causes higher costs, expenses, inefficiency, poor quality, disruption of the market and adds layers of bureaucracy and unnecessary regulations that often erode personal freedoms and causes undue burden.
To avoid overburdening the tech sector with excessive regulation that adversely affects our already damaged anti-business economy, and to help keep the Internet free of government control, contact your Senators immediately and urge them to do what is constitutionally correct by undoing the order of net neutrality from an unelected, unaccountable government bureaucracy. —–Tell them Congress is supposed to represent the wishes of the people and make laws, not the FCC.
2) Help uphold U.S. immigration laws to protect America
In further negligence of having the Federal Government actively pursue a course of not enforcing its own immigration laws, actively harming America and work against American workers and not doing its proper job to stop illegal Alien violators, the Obama administration is suing to stop the states of South Carolina, Alabama, and Arizona from enforcing illegal immigration laws. The Obama Administration would rather lawsuit sue Americans and the U.S. States on behalf of foreign Nations, plowing more bankrupting stimulus money into waste rather than lawsuit sue sanctuary cities (aiding illegal Aliens) that violate Federal Law and rather than stop illegal Aliens from harming American communities.
Other nations are asking to join the Obama administration’s case against our states.
The nations trying to prevent us from stopping illegal immigration along with Obama are Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.
We expect the Obama administration to attack the states of Indiana, Georgia and Utah as well due to immigration enforcement laws our activists have helped to pass in these states! The American People have spoken their will. The DOJ’s Eric Holder thinks that he is the law rather than being an upholder and enforcer of the law that the People have passed. The Obama Administration wants to see American workers not get jobs, wants to see rampant crime continue by illegal Aliens, wants to see taxes raised to help pay for State and Federal budgets being drained by illegal Aliens and see Americans such as those in the Occupy Wall Street crowd not get jobs.
US Senators Jim DeMint (R-SC), David Vitter (R-LA), and Jeff Sessions (R-AL) have announced a plan to file a bill that would prohibit the Justice Department from filing these lawsuits to block state laws designed to stop illegal immigration.
Your help is needed right away!
Step 1: Call Senators Demint (202) 224-6121, Vitter (202) 224-4623 and Sessions (202) 224-4124 to say “Thank you for standing up for Americans fighting to stop and reverse illegal immigration. I support your bill to stop the Obama administration from suing states that try to crack down on illegal immigration.
Step 2: Call your members of the US Senate and as many other senate offices as possible to say “I am calling/writing to ask Senator _______ to please support Senators Demint, Vitter, and Sessions in their efforts to pass a law to stop the Obama administration from suing states like South Carolina, Alabama, and Arizona. These states are trying to stop illegal immigration themselves since our own federal government is not enforcing laws and is in fact helping illegal aliens to take American jobs, taxpayer resources, and voting rights. Please support the Demint, Vitter, and Sessions law designed to stop these DOJ lawsuits.”
