Obama has assaulted us again with his decree to mandate insurance companies cover free abortions, contraception, and sterilizations for religious organizations – even if the organization is philosophically opposed to such practices.  **

If you are angry about Obama’s abortion coverage, unconstitutional individual mandate, financial disclosure for Medicare recipients, doctors’ pay cuts, or rationing of care to our seniors – then join us and couple million of our patriot friends!!!

The cost will be around $40-50 dollars each. We will leave around midnight (Friday night) and return back here around 2am on Sunday morning.  Depending on how many people are going, we will leave from Lenoir or Hickory.

I need to know as soon as possible, we have one bus and can get a second one if needed!  You can mail me a check or bring it the next meeting 3/6. I will take money until that night we leave, but if I don’t know you want to go, I can’t reserve you a space and you might not get a seat.

**  At the center of the latest chapter of this controversial legislation  we have dubbed Obamacare, is our neighboring Catholic college, Belmont-Abbey in Gastonia, NC.  They refused to provide such procedures within their church run organization medical plan on grounds of religious freedom – the 1st Amendment.

Yesterday, the US Supreme Court decided not to hear the Obamacare arguments in March because “no one has been harmed yet” by Obamacare.  This could essentially put off a much need Constitutional ruling until 2015 or 2016!

Today, the Southern Baptist Convention released a statement, “I guess we’re going to have to start going to jail.”  (Going to jail would be “harm” as defined by the law, and thus making the lawsuit worthy of Supreme Court hearing.)

Obama back peddled alittle on his decree – re-stating the decree that only actual churches will be permitted to not carry the distasteful coverage, but insurance companies must contact all women and offer these services for free!   Church-like organizations, such as Catholic and Baptist Hospitals, religious affiliated universities, and other outreach ministries will not be granted the same waiver, and must provide abortion, etc… coverage in all medical insurance policies.
