As the race for all the statewide “Secretary of…” offices now get the spot light turned on them, we see that not all candidates are created equal. One candidate for North Carolina Auditor, Debra Goldman, seems to be a RINO. We want to avoid RINO’s (Republicans In Name Only), just as much as we want to avoid DINO’s (Democrats In Name Only), because of the Forrest Gump “life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you gonna get.” I wanna know that each candidate believes in the platform of the party they are running under. I don’t want to be surprised! I don’t think that’s too much to ask. Like when say…, an (R) votes contrary to some strongly held GOP belief. And vise versa for Democrats, I’m sure they don’t like it any more than I do. To me, that’s fraud against constituents.
In Goldman’s case, she voted with the Democrats on a well publicized neighborhood busing issue under pressure from that NAACP and other Lefty organizations. According to the article, “Conservatives and true Republicans have an obligation to reject Debra Goldman’s attempt to finagle us into thinking she is one of us. She is a rank political opportunist….”

In the spirit of this article, another State wide candidate who is NOT what he seems is Richard Morgan, who is now in a runoff for state Insurance Commissioner. Morgan is that RINO who worked hand-in-hand with felon Jim Black, as co-speaker of the House of Representatives. Morgan was – and is – a traitor to the Republican Party. Please support Mike Causey in the July runoff election. We cannot afford or risk Morgan holding public office again. He was turned out in 2006 and has lost campaigns to regain power in 2008 and 2010.
