Do you see any truth to this article? Maybe it’s unfair, maybe it’s not, but there is a pattern.  If Romney would just run on the economy, Obama will lose in a historic Reagan-Carter landslide.  It’s the ECONOMY, stupid!

In Todd Akin’s Missouri Senate race, I agree “The outcry from the know-nothings in the DC establishment has been appalling.  THIS is a decision for the people of Missouri.” Why not just help Akin explain his way out the STUPID comment he made.  Yes, McCaskill is going to use it against him, but in this election Republicans and Republican-leaning Unafilliated voters aren’t focusing on these social issues.  THE ECONOMY!  THE ECONOMY!  The Economy!  Hello??

The Republicans never circle the wagons and defend their own. They just throw them off a cliff.  Akin had a 10-pt lead over the Obama-loving, uber-liberal, Claire McCaskill (D-MO). All the GOP had to do was stand by him and defend him, or at least ignore the unfortunate statement.  But “The Stupid Party” showed and immediately called for Akin to step down?  What?  He didn’t do anything unethical or immoral.  He just made some incredibly stupid remarks.  His sincere apology and explanation followed the next day on the talk show circuit.  The Establishment still called for his head – they might as well be working for the Democrats!!!!!
