Here is the email I got this morning about problems within our district:
To: 18 iCaucus NC Affiliate Groups, GOP Chairs Henderson and Buncombe, True The Vote Volunteers in Buncombe. Please recruit folks to do this this week.
The point of concern for us: Henderson County is very red and Conservative. If there is anything going on here with non-citizens voter registration, it may very well be happening in other parts of the state. That means, we need to be citizen reporters and investigators. IT’S UP TO US TO HOLD OUR OFFICIALS ACCOUNTABLE. Therefore, please see below. We need the leaders of each of these groups to get there folks out to the clinics THIS WEEK. Voter registration ends Oct 5th, this week. Correction: Voter registration ends Oct 12th.

9/29/2012 — From my conversation with Jay DeLancy Voter Integrity Project:
We need to get evidence. We don’t want to become the story. The story is voter integrity. Ask Board of Elections: How are you verifying they are citizens? (Active current driver’s license?) How did they check the blocks – English or Spanish? Translator? Fluent in foreign language?
Voter Rights Act of 1965 says that each state must make it available for people to vote. So, any free clinic is govt run. The ‘coaching’ and verification on voter registration cards is what we need to be concerned with.
As leaders, you need to get your folks to these clinics and any other places this week to make sure our votes are not compromised. Thank you patriots! Never ends!
