Obama’s Wrong Path for America and the GOP’s Blown Role

If Obama gets his way, he will  1) over tax us all into poverty and government dependency,  2) spend the country into oblivion, and  3) take our guns. That’s what dictators do and usually under the guise of “helping”, “saving”, or “protecting”. We are at a “Give me liberty, or give me death” time in history. WAKE UP PEOPLE!  Wake up Republican leadership!!!!

I posted the above comment on facebook today.  I got these great replies:

Ron: Just what Hitler did to Germany. Time for Americans to wake up re-read some history books and get our collective heads out of our backsides. We can no longer keep telling ourselves this could never happen in America…. IT IS ALREADY HAPPENING PEOPLE!
Michael: Yes , history does repeat and we have learned nothing, The Germans hate to talk about it.
Christine: That’s exactly what Hitler did. What do they say about those who fail to LEARN FROM HISTORY?
Ron: We are destined to repeat it….. that’s why I am screaming from the top of my lungs here on this social media.

TEA Party still fights hard through the hard times. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2012/12/26/The-Tea-Party-Has-Not-Yet-Begun-to-Fight

I followed up the post with this: It has seemed so hopeless lately. But I guess it’s time to get over the Obama victory and utter GOP failure, and get myself back to work.

One comment about 2012 from my friend Jerry was this: [The TEA Party was] “Being torpedoed by RINO’s in office and being called Racist by Communists.”  We were not only attacked and marginalized by Barack Hussein Obama, the Democrat Party, and the liberal main stream media, but also by the GOP.  Time after time, we all went back to the GOP to help put Republicans in office.  We succeeded in many races.  Yes, the Primary was contentious and people took sides, but that’s completely normal.  Now in the General Election, the TEA Party couldn’t have been more unified with the GOP and even the establishment.  And what did we get?  Slapped.

Slapped at the state convention.  Slapped at the National Convention.  We all still volunteered for, voted for, and supported Republican candidates, even Romney.  We didn’t deserve to be called names, or held on buses at the convention in Tampa, just to name a couple things.  Ron Paul and his delegates didn’t deserve to be held out of the National Convention.  (I’m not a Ron Paul for President supporter, but I can see the much needed value of his platform and his supporters votes in the GOP.  The GOP was too short-sighted to welcome them in, just as they were with the TEA Party.)  So many of us worked really hard to defeat Obama with [eye roll] Romney.  He should have had an easy victory.  … Never mind, that’s already been discussed at nausea.

To clarify, I am angry at the national party – the RNC and US House and Senate.  In our neck of the woods, Senator Burr is the worst offender against conservative principles.

Conversely, North Carolina has been represented by some of the most upright and conservative Republicans I have known.  We are lucky to have such fantastic representation in our state.  They understand their jobs, the scope, the limitations, and the Constitutions.  The state Republican Party is not so fantastic, and I’ll leave it at that.

I’m ready to hasten the GOP’s self-inflicted irrelevancy, especially after this latest budget debacle.  They seem to become more and more politically inept.  Is it so difficult to understand we have a spending problem, not a revenue problem?

No wait… THEY have a spending problem and we are the one’s responsible for paying the bill.  Apparently, Congress fails to grasp at any level their federal spending is so out of control that they are ruining the country.  [Google “Cloward and Piven”]  SPENDING CUTS! SPENDING CUTS!  Cutting the rate of increased spending is not a spending cut.  Check out this budget example:

US Budget for dummies  (from the HotAir Greenroom, 2011)

* U.S. Tax revenue: $2,170,000,000,000
* Fed budget: $3,820,000,000,000
* New debt: $ 1,650,000,000,000
* National debt: $14,271,000,000,000
* Recent budget cuts: $ 38,500,000,000

Let’s now remove 8 zeros and pretend it’s a household budget:

* Annual family income: $21,700
* Money the family spent: $38,200
* New debt on the credit card: $16,500
* Outstanding balance on the credit card: $142,710
* Total budget cuts so far: $38.50

It’s simple math stupid.  We’re broke.  We can’t afford it.  Even if something was a good idea (like new infrastructure), we can’t afford it.  Stop Spending!!!!!

Why does it seem like the GOP is more willing to go along with Obama with each new battle??  The GOP is basically allowing Obama to control the narrative of who they are and what they stand for, to such an extreme that I sometimes think the Left might be right about the GOP.  Have you heard Speaker Boehner explain what their plan is? Rarely.  Have you heard Obama explain what the Republican’s evil plan is? Yes.  Obama claims the House GOP wants to end Medicare and kill grandma – not true.  But the politically inept Republicans either don’t or won’t clarify.  Shoot, the GOP won’t even call Obama a Socialist or a Communist.

The GOP has come to Obama’s gun fight with spit balls.

Another facebook friend, Jimmy, said it’s time for a third party now.  “But there was no tea party presence in the [2012] primaries, Sarah Palin pretended to be a non-partisan hack commentator on Fox, and in the general election the tea party backed some real losers. CONCLUSION: Unless the tea party becomes a nationally organized team, it will never have any real power.”

People in the TEA Party are mostly conservatives and some libertarians.  We all worked hard in the appropriate existing political party – the Republican Party.  We were dedicated to getting a conservative principled outcome in the elections.  But just like Ron Paul and his supporters, all libertarians at heart working in the GOP, we were all ridiculed.

After 2012, I am officially ready to form a third party! I’m done with stupid Republicans who are either too corrupt or too stupid to do the right thing.

I’m a Republican deep down inside, I mean, I really believe in the GOP Platform.  Why don’t most Republican elected officials?  Why is it that the TEA Party supported Congressmen are maligned for being conservatives and supporting the principles in the GOP Platform?  It’s dysfunctional, unproductive, and led to Obama’s victory.

It’s time.

It’s time for a new Party.  We have four years to make this happen.  Some might be surprised, since I’ve been telling people for 4-years “we don’t need a third party. It will only cause Democrats to get elected.”  At this point with the GOP, we have nothing to lose.

Worth repeating:

If Obama gets his way, he will

1) over tax us all into poverty and government dependency,

2) spend the country into oblivion, and

3) take our guns.

That’s what dictators do and usually under the guise of “helping”, “saving”, or “protecting”. We are at a “Give me liberty, or give me death” time in history. WAKE UP PEOPLE!  Wake up Republican leadership!!!!

About Christine

I believe in the CONSERVATIVE principles and values of the Republican Party as they are written, and not how they are currently practiced by today's RINO's. Smaller government, lower taxes, more personal responsibility, states' rights, free market capitalism, and less government intrusion in our lives!

  1. You are surprising me, Christine. I had you pegged as a Republican Party shill in Tea Party clothes. I hope you learn to think for yourself and find your own true values and work for those. Don’t let other people use you for their own purposes.

    I know there is something really sick with the “conservative movement” when they vote for men of highly questionable character and morals like Lindsay Graham and Patrick McHenry.

    It will be interesting to see where your own character leads you.

    Notice how its drama about security, security, safety, safety, children this, children that — “we just want to protect you” —use the children as a shield… same road that Hitler took…

    Utter baloney sideshow propaganda — poor little govt workers won’t get their standard pay raise they get every year. Welcome to the real world Washington — now you can fairly share what American Workers and the private sector economy is going thru. This $85 Billion is not even a cut, its merely a decrease in the amount of raise of spending for govt entities — so the sequester cut can be done without a single employee being laid off or unemployed!!!!! Therein lies the embarrassing shallow dishonest threatening behavior being done by 0bama, Biden, Democrats, Washington DC on the People. 0bama, Democrats, the government are now doing a form of terrorism on the American People – financial terrorism. Oh, but Mr. Biden WE the People do worry and care about our economy — remember in 2011 when WE were so concerned that we called for Cap, Cut and Balance (budget) — oh but then Biden, John Kerry called us People a bunch of TERRORISTS!! The governmment’s behavior is showing its true ugly tyranny. The Fed Government along with its working cohort accomplice companion, the establishment media, are seeing what they can get away with doing terrorism on the People. So now we see revealed that the Fed govt is willing to do terrorism on its own People in order to force opinion and capitulation, a decline of the U.S.

    State controlled establishment media in conjunction with globalists, CFR are doing their best to trash America — since this fake issue sideshow of $85 billion is being blown up into hysteria — be reminded that it is also being used as a distraction, deflection from the real issues, actions to degrade, decline America — Border/“immigration” amnesty (really removal of Border to get North American Union), 2nd Amendment gun Rights — stay focused on these two key issues — the Nation’s money financial mess will be there for years to come

    What should be the name of our new Party — Whig? Federalist? How about Liberty, Freedom or simply the Eagle Party. Agree – GOP is worthless — latest example the Hagel nomination — Repubs first block his nomination stating all the problems and given THE WORST nomination hearing in history — yet here was the first test for the Repubs to stand for something and stand up but then they just go ahead and give Hagel the job anyway. GOP is big government, exploit America, continue to ‘play the game’ against Americans while moving toward a ‘new world order’ — per the Bush family. By the way Jeb Bush is NOT conservative and should have been rejected by CPAC just like schmuck Christie was — Jeb Bush and any other Bush younger should find conservatives undercutting him to get any where near the White House.
