Take 12-minutes to listen to this great interview from November 7, 2012. I’m ready to take the GOP Platform to another party that will really uphold those principles. Herman Cain makes an excellent case for the creation of a new political party, a conservative one.

In 2012, 4 million Republican voters stayed home.
In 2008, an additional 6 million GOP voters stayed home.
~~ It could be said, 10 million conservatives have checked out of the political process. ~~
The GOP is obviously out of touch since they keep prematurely “anointing” moderates like Romney and McCain long before the Primaries are half over. Cain says we need a third party challenge (not from Ron Paulites organization). Well, I’m ready. I’m ready to take the GOP Platform to another party that will really uphold those principles. All that is needed is a strong movement in every state to get the new party on the ballots. In NC, that’s a monumental task but worth it.
Would the TEA Party be willing to join the Free the Vote Coalition then to push for ballot access reform in North Carolina to reduce our state’s restrictive ballot access laws down to a level more consistent with the majority of the nation and more palpable for access to the ballot? The Coalition supports the Voter Freedom Act which will be introduced in the upcoming session. You can find out more here: http://www.freethevotenc.com/leg_voterfreedomact.php
We currently have secured two sponsors in the House (with two others pending) and one in the Senate (one other pending) that will be disclosed at a later date. If you want more information please contact me at jmgreene@freethevotenc.com
