Inaugural Ceremonies and public Swearing-In of the Governor, Lt. Governor, NC Justices, and the new Council of State officials, 1/12/13, in Raleigh. I was there!! I was sitting to the far right in the audience in front of the stage. I booed the Attorney General Roy Cooper (D) when he was introduced – big political faux pas! I watched the hour-long parade from the corner before the Governor’s viewing stand. I enjoyed myself greatly at the Lt. Governor’s BBQ.
NC Supreme Court Justice Paul Newby http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qk_yOthaCk& “Interesting” remarks from Gov. McCrory reminding Newby he is serving an 8-year term and can’t run for governor during his term, then he leaves. Lt. Gov Dan Forest makes a classy and substantive speech honoring Justice Newby’s excellent character. Newby’s Swearing-In begins at 39:30.
US House Rep. Mark Meadows (R) news article of Meadows Swearing-In. http://www.maconnews.com/news/state–region/4164-congressman-mark-meadows-takes-oath-of-office I saw Rep. Meadows in Raleigh at the Inaugural festivities.
I could looked for other videos from other Caldwell County representatives, but I couldn’t find any others. If you have a link, share it with us here.

…. I promise not to post King Obama’s 2013 coronation.
This next list is for political fun. I like to poke the establishment with sharp sticks. Yep, I admit it. A feisty article titled “In Raleigh, the conservative revolution is starting to look a lot more like Family Feud” highlights the ongoing struggles against the GOP establishment. — http://dailyhaymaker.com/?p=4726
Thank you for sparing us the coronation of the king (small k). The whole week will be a good time for re-runs or DVD’s, certainly not for TV.
