FL HB733 “2nd Amendment Preservatioan Act” bill

HB733 “2nd Amendment Preservation Act”: Uses “anti-commendeering” provisions from 1842 that allow states to not enforce federal law or acts. In this case citing new federal laws violate the US Constitution and FL Consitutions. Basically, the states are not responsible to enforce federal law. Sheriff Mack and the 10th Amendment Center are leading proponents. Need I say more? This is a good bill.

The 10th Amendment Center is behind HB733 too.

FL legislative status:

Oh, no! HB733 was withdrawn before introduction to the full House on February 28, 2014. Too bad! Floridians need to contact their House member and those subcommittes, and call to tell your support to those co-sponsors.

Be sure to read the 3-page original text. It seems pretty rational to me.

About Christine

I believe in the CONSERVATIVE principles and values of the Republican Party as they are written, and not how they are currently practiced by today's RINO's. Smaller government, lower taxes, more personal responsibility, states' rights, free market capitalism, and less government intrusion in our lives!
