Alert–Immigration Legislation–NC Driver Licenses/Permits for illegal Aliens, National ID Cards

North Carolina GOP lawmakers Rep. Harry Warren, Rep. Brian Brown, Rep. Jonathan Jordan, and Rep. Jeff Collins want to encourage more illegal immigration and employment of illegals by passing their deceptively named bill to give driver licenses to illegal aliens HB 328 called the “Highway Safety/Citizens Protection Act.”

The legislation reads in Part VI: PART VI. AUTHORIZE UNDOCUMENTED ALIENS TO OBTAIN RESTRICTED DRIVERS PERMITS AND RESTRICTED IDENTIFICATION CARDS 24 SECTION 6.(a) G.S. 20-4.01

“NC lawmakers should be working to get illegal immigrants off of our voter lists, off of our roads, and off of North Carolina work sites instead of trying to facilitate them and their employers with licenses that more than 3 out of 4 North Carolinians reject!” said William Gheen. “It’s terribly disturbing to see lawmakers so out of touch with the American citizens they serve.”

All of North Carolina’s Spanish language newspapers, Que Pasa and La Noticia, are running front page headlines celebrating the bill with pictures of Representative Harry Warren while the English language newspapers have been completely silent so far. It is sickening to see politicians, Republicans, acting grandiose as a great Benefactor/Solver/Arbiter for illegal foreigners and acts of money cronyism where money is all that matters when there actions clearly defile America and the American People.

This NOT about safety, safety on the road or a matter of auto insurance (as the pro-illegal groups cry such victimhood) or protecting Citizens from anything, this is about getting illegal Aliens a kind of amnesty that facilitates their ability of livelihood in NC and also provides cover from law enforcement. Essentially IT MAKES NORTH CAROLINA A SANCTUARY STATE that will then put out a welcome mat for more and more illegal Aliens to flood into NC. As it is NOW the cost of illegal Aliens to NC Citizens and Taxpayers is $1 Billion whereby we now see the attempt to raise the gasoline tax on Americans that examples the budget deficit from ILLEGAL ALIENS. The Dec 2014 Civitas newspaper reports that NC’s illegal Alien population has increased from 350,000 in 2012 to 410,000. That’s 60,000 illegal Aliens have intruded NC breaking multiple laws and stealing down Americans in 2 years.

The illegal Aliens that have jobs at their illegal hiring companies should not have jobs in the first place that they need to drive to. It is Illegal businesses such as those promoting helping illegal Aliens in the Chamber of Commerce, NC Farm Bureau, NC Tree Nursery Association as well as the Banking industry that harm all of society that pushes off all their illegal cost onto American families, Taxpayers to SUBSIDIZE their ILLEGAL business and Company. Businesses that have to rely on Illegal activity by Illegal Aliens should not be in business because it is harmful regardless of money and the wants of money. These businesses are unpatriotic and damage NC and the United States in their pursuit of money.

The contention made by Rep. Warren(R) and others supporting this bill is that by identifying illegal Aliens or “bringing them out of the shadows” then allows law enforcement to be able to identify or keep tabs on such illegal immigrants BUT that is in disregard firstly to the violation of the other multiple laws of the illegal Aliens’ illegal entry into the U.S. and NC that violates Americans and that prohibits their very presence from having a job or an ID/driver license. Saying that this bill helps North Carolina Americans by increasing penalties for fake ID’s or ID thefts is a false/fraud motive – that is unimportant when the bill then allows illegal Aliens access and the ability to further adhere into U.S. Society to help their illegal stealing and then also to call their illegal foreign ‘buddies’ to ‘come on up and live in NC because NC is a pushover to handout driver licenses and easy to abuse to get welfare money. This is also a National Security Loophole as Illegal entering Terrorists could then obtain concealment and hiding in U.S. Society to plot terrible Acts just as the 9/11 hijackers were able to do so.

This further shows the degradation and hypocrisy of the Republican Party, to carry responsibility of governing and acting for America and its Citizens and Legal Immigrants rather than working to sellout, give away America’s well-being to foreign and monetary ‘Global’ interests, as it is now Republicans that have promised fiscal responsibility and doing all they can to reject amnesty or the President’s illegal Executive order amnesty BUT HERE AND elsewhere we see them acting to betray America, betray American Workers and America’s prosperity by flooding America with more foreign workers.

The very notion that Americans have to sacrifice ANYTHING whether its privacy, taxation, quality of education/healthcare, whatever in order to get enforcement of immigration laws is a betraying unacceptable blackmail and bribe because it is illegal Aliens that are the violators, criminals and intruders causing the problem — Americans ARE NOT TO BE PENALIZED BECAUSE ILLEGAL ALIENS INTRUDE AND VIOLATE US WHEN IT IS THE LEGISLATURE AND STATES DUTY IN THE FIRST PLACE TO ENFORCE OUR LAWS THAT WE PAY THEM TO DO!!

BIOMETRIC NATIONAL ID CARDS IMPLICATED IN FEDERAL LEGISLATION – HR1147 – The ‘Legal Workforce Act’ to create E-verify system in name of immigration enforcement

This legislation has slippery, vague, non-specific language so as to be later used to create and impose a National ID Card hence a Federal Government National Registry to control its Citizens under a police State that could then be used to violate privacy or impose gun control .

In other words, under E-verify compliance, in order for Americans to be allowed to get/have a job in the U.S. – they will be required to have an intrusive privacy violation biometric National ID Card where the Federal Government will keep as a Registrar Database – that will be used to track all of your movements, activity, etc. negating all your freedoms protected under the U.S. Constitution. It is also believed that eventually this ID Card would have a ‘gps chip’ inserted that could track individual Citizens.

National ID scheme – ‘Poison pill’ for Americans hidden in House Immigration Enforcement legislation. Americans being duped/ violated in Immigration enforcement legislation HR 1147 – ‘Legal Workforce Act’

The legislation goes to the extent of directly referring to national ID cards to try and flat out say they are not doing that (but also here with no specific definition – such as NOT creating a Federal database) stating:

(8) LIMITATION ON USE OF THE VERIFICATION SYSTEM AND ANY RELATED SYSTEMS-

`(A) NO NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION CARD- Nothing in this section shall be construed to authorize, directly or indirectly, the issuance or use of national identification cards or the establishment of a national identification card.

BUT then in section 12 and 13 States a vague term usage called a “photo tool” —

SEC. 12. USE OF EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY VERIFICATION PHOTO TOOL.

An employer who uses the photo matching tool used as part of the E-Verify System shall match the photo tool photograph to both the photograph on the identity or employment eligibility document provided by the employee and to the face of the employee submitting the document for employment verification purposes.

SEC. 13. IDENTITY AUTHENTICATION EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY VERIFICATION PILOT PROGRAMS.

Not later than 24 months after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Homeland Security, after consultation with the Commissioner of Social Security and the Director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, shall establish by regulation not less than 2 Identity Authentication Employment Eligibility Verification pilot programs, each using a separate and distinct technology (the `Authentication Pilots’). The purpose of the Authentication Pilots shall be to provide for identity authentication and employment eligibility verification with respect to enrolled new employees which shall be available to any employer that elects to participate in either of the Authentication Pilots. Any participating employer may cancel the employer’s participation in the Authentication Pilot after one year after electing to participate without prejudice to future participation. The Secretary shall report to the Committee on the Judiciary of the House of Representatives and the Committee on the Judiciary of the Senate the Secretary’s findings on the Authentication Pilots, including the authentication technologies chosen, not later than 12 months after commencement of the Authentication Pilots.

A National ID Card for Americans to track, control and create a Federal database to violate other areas of Americans Freedoms is secretly being inserted into E-verify Immigration enforcement bill HR 1147.

Last Tuesday, the House Judiciary Committee voted on and passed the so-called “Legal Workforce Act,” H.R. 1147.

This legislation creates a mandatory National ID system requiring all Americans to carry a government-approved ID containing “biometric features.”

You will be required to show this ID to any potential employer so they can verify your identity in a federal database . . .

And confirm that you have “federal permission” to hold a job.

THIS is in fact the same language provisions that is in the Senate Gang of Eight’s ‘Comprehensive Immigration Reform’ Bill S.744. The National ID scheme was first attempted to be applied in 2005’s REAL ID legislation that 38 States rejected and therefore was never implemented. S. 744 and now HR 1147 forces Americans to comply with the REAL ID ACT which is a National ID Card Register database.

IN S.744 it reads under TITLE III – Interior Enforcement

Section (C) DOCUMENTS ESTABLISHING IDENTITY AND EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZED STATUS – Subsection (iii) An enhanced driver’s license or identification card issued TO A NATIONAL OF THE UNITED STATES by a State or a federally recognized Indian tribe that— (I) meets the requirements under section 202 of the REAL ID 20 Act of 2005 (division B of Public Law 21 109–13; 49 U.S.C. 30301 note)

This highly violates the freedoms from government afforded by the U.S. Constitution to American Citizens. IT IS NOT the purview of the Federal Government to monitor, track and thereby control its Citizens in a free society – because then we are NOT a free society but rather a total complete police State that amounts to a speech and thought police that puts fear into your daily actions.

IT IS NOT the purview of the Federal Govt to create ID Cards unless it is a Visa, passport or immigration identity document that is to be applied to Immigrants or Foreigners temporarily entering the U.S. The broad making of laws of Federal purview is NOT to IMPUGN the INDIVIDUAL CITIZENS FREEDOMS. The U.S. States driver license and ID card documenting is the purview of the States, under States Rights where the State govt is closer to the People and will not apply broad based law regulations on the individual thru its ID or driver license.

Beyond that IT IS INSULTING and betrayal assault on Americans to say that because of ILLEGAL Aliens violating and intruding our Nation stealing America down that then WE Citizens have to be penalized of our freedoms FOR THEIR LAW-BREAKING!!!

If passed, this dangerous scheme would require all Americans to carry an ID card that would:

*** Allow federal bureaucrats to include biometric identification information on the card, potentially even including fingerprints, retinal scans, or scans of veins on the back of hands, which could easily be used as a tracking device;

*** Be required for all U.S. workers regardless of place of birth, making it illegal for anyone to hold a job in the United States who doesn’t obtain an ID card;

*** Require all employers to purchase an “ID scanner” to verify the ID cards with the federal government. Every time any citizen applies for a job, the government would know – and you can bet it’s only a matter of time until “ID scans” will be required to make even routine purchases, as well.

This dangerous national ID scheme is being hidden in a package of bills marketed as promoting “security” – a buzzword meant to trick Americans from all over the country into thinking that Congress is finally cowing to their wishes and sealing our southern border.

But in reality, it means something far different.

The “security” that the Members of BOTH parties in the U.S. House want doesn’t target any U.S. border . . .

Instead, it takes yet another step to the creation of an all-out police state within them

This is exactly the type of battle that often decides whether a country remains free or continues down a slide toward tyranny.

Gun ownership, health records, purchasing habits, religious beliefs – virtually anything you could dream up could all be added to this massive National ID database.

And doing so wouldn’t even require a vote by Congress.

Instead, it could happen with a simple stroke of a President’s pen.

And you and I both know this power WILL be abused.

Just consider the massive scandal exposing the NSA’s spying on American citizens . . .

Can anyone doubt that once “well-meaning” government bureaucrats know exactly how we live, they will ramp up their efforts to run our lives through more laws, regulations, taxes, and other restraints?

In fact, it will only be a matter of time until they spend their workdays making sure you and I don’t go anywhere, read anything, eat anything, or drink anything they think we “shouldn’t be allowed to.”

And BOTH parties are complicit.

While we may support true ‘immigration reform’ that puts America first with PROPER enforcement, the truth is this legislation fails to secure our border and is a replay of the same failed reform schemes you and I have seen over the years. JUST LIKE the FAKE Border Security they always promise, this is a poke in the eyes of Americans for them having to do something with their illegal Aliens. Members of BOTH parties have begun to throw around the word “security” to generate more support for their schemes.

And given Barack Obama’s hunger for more information on the American people, you can be sure his allies will abuse the National ID database in the same manner the NSA and IRS have.

During an aptly named GOP “retreat,” in 2014 the Big Government Republican House leadership unveiled new “Immigration Reform Principles”– which lays out the framework for another House cave in to President Obama – prominently includes the Senate Gang of Eight’s National ID/National Database system as one of its provisions.

That’s why every American who values liberty — no matter what they think of the other provisions of the bill — should oppose this National ID scheme.

The speed with which this bill was rushed through the Committee, combined with this being one of a package of “immigration enforcement” bills makes me fear that you and I are seeing the beginnings of a strong movement to RAM this bill – or even some worse “bipartisan compromise” – through.

Last Tuesday, the House Judiciary Committee voted on and passed legislation creating a mandatory National ID system requiring all Americans to carry a government-approved ID containing “biometric features.”

This legislation was just introduced the previous Friday afternoon. In fact, the Committee markup was announced before the text of the legislation was even available online!

The Committee’s swift action on this bill signals that House Leadership is eager to ram this threat to freedom through Congress before opposition mobilizes.

AMERICANS ARE NOT TO BE PENALIZED OR IMPUGNED ON OUR FREEDOMS OR BILL OF RIGHTS BECAUSE OF ILLEGAL ALIENS THAT ARE THE ONES TO BE PENALIZED AS CRIMINALS WHO VIOLATED THE U.S. AND AMERICANS IN THE FIRST PLACE.

IT IS NOT simply an employment verification system or an “economic opportunity” requirement or a “National Security to protect Americans” (from ID theft, ID fraud, hacker security breaches,etc.) as they will try to word manipulate to make it sound good. ID Documents and Driver Licenses for Citizen Americans are to stay as functions of U.S. States that are not to be tied to ANY FEDERAL database – which by the way would be yet another even bigger security threat that this Federal database containing even more information could be hacked. As it was just found that the State Dept. has just been hacked by Russian hackers!!
