Earlier this week it was announced that NC-11 House Rep. Mark Meadows had launched an effort to oust John Boehner from his post as Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives. Within hours, FreedomWorks hosted a sign wave in North Carolina’s 11th District for Meadows’s constituents to demonstrate their support for the “Fire John Boehner” effort (see video below.) FreedomWorks will host another sign wave event on Saturday, Aug. 1 at 2:30 PM in Weaverville at Lake Louise.
