8/25 – Candidate for Superintendent of Public Instruction Rosemary Fernandez-Stein will address the Caldwell County Republican Women at Bud’s Diner on Hwy 18 in Lenoir at 7pm (6pm for dinner). Stein has strong opinions on Common Core and the developmental appropriateness of the curriculum. She is a pediatrician and sees the emotional damage done by Common Core on a daily basis.
