Donald Trump wins!!!!  He won by 2.9 million votes nationwide. He painted the country red! Hillary only won in urban areas, but the there is a definite shift to the right.

MAY  2016

5/3 – Caldwell TEA Party meeting 7pm. All candidates welcome! (Please email us to let us know you are coming, so we can share it with our members.)

5/6-8 – NCGOP state convention in Greensboro at the Kory Center. LINK http://ncgopconvention.com/   *** UPDATE: What a “show” of how the group in control can drag their everloving feet through the most mundane details to purposefully run out of time to do the business of the convention – again. “Ooops, we’ve run out of time. All items will be held over for the State Executive Committee to decide. Thank you for coming. Go home.” BTW that’s the same group that ousted State Chairman Harnet the week before while he was out of the country. Yeah, they can really move a process if it’s in THEIR best interest. What a show. :/

5/17 – Caldwell TEA Party meeting. Planning meeting for the June 7th Primary Election. Volunteers are needed for the week during early voting 8am-5pm. MORE volunteers are needed on Election Day, Tuesday, June 7th between 6:30am and 7pm.  The task is to pass out literature alerting voters which candidate for Supreme Court Justice is the Republican and which three are the Democrats. The voters can make their decision.  This is very important, as the balance of decision making could shift to the Dem’s if the Republican doesn’t win. Right now the NC Supreme Court is 5 Repub and 4 Dem.

5/26 – Early Voting begins. 5/26-6/4. Link.
