Former Speaker of  the House Newt Gingrich (R) – He did that Green Energy commercial with Nancy Pelosi touting unwanted government intrusion into the free-markets.  Says Shariia Law is incompatible with US Law link.  5/18/11 FoxNews and Rush call Gingrich OUT!  One analyst says his public consideration for office was the shortest lived he had ever seen.   Newt said that Paul Ryan budget is nothing more than “social engineering”.  5/23 – Oooo, Newt continues to take a media-beating over his Ryan comment.  5/29 Dick Morris’ opinion http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLsCVBsLGlc&feature=relmfu   11/26/11 Has begun to surge in the polls recently, but made a statement about illegal immigration & amnesty that has caused an avalanche of negative discussion about his campaign. Former Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA)  Says Shari’a Law is incompatible with US Law link.  5/18/11 He made some press today, FoxNews says he still recovering from a gaff about “McCain doesn’t know anything about the effectiveness of waterboarding.”  Uh-em, McCain was a North Vietnamese (communist) prison camp for 5 years.  McCain knows something about effective torture.  For the record, I like Santorum, and don’t like McCain.  But I don’t think anyone, not even Santorum, has room to comment on McCain’s expertise on torture.  Through December, Santorum slowly gained a lot of traction in Iowa 1/3/12 – Rick Santorum, according to SE Cupp, is the real deal conservative, but has very little money.

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN)  Supported by many TEA Party groups and not by the establishment GOP link.  Reported Wednesday, 5/18/11, Bachmann had raised the most money of any Congressional candidate in history.  She has raised $12 million.  Her website. 5/20 – Bachmann is scheduled to make her official announcement on Monday. 5/20 – Bachmann is drawing significant fire for supporting the renewal of the Patriot Act.  For the record, I was in favor of the Patriot Act under Bush, but it terrifies me under Obama.  From my understanding of the Act, it allows for warrantless listening to calls from known terrorist countries into the US and calls from the US to known terrorist countries.  It doesn’t listen to all calls inside the US.  5/27 She has raised 23 children (biological, adopted and foster).  Today someone said, “All the wrong people don’t like her. Herman Cain (R) CEO of Godfather’s Pizza.  Perfect candidate with a firm grasp of the issues link.  My only concern is that he was sat on the Federal Reserve Board and sees no big deal about their existence, link.  Many see the Federal Reserve as the worst problem in American today.  Sees no place for Shari’a Law in American government link.  Cain supported TARP link (maybe in hindsight we all know TARP was bad).  5/21 – Officially announced his candidacy in Atlanta today.  5/29 Dick Morris’ opinion http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Fm5kdtSfR0&feature=relmfu  6/13 CNN Debate, Cain believes in free markets.  6/17 Republican Leadership Conference speech Part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRX7S9nnlto. Part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRzS-_nrwLI.  From his speech, Cain wants the following: 1) corporate tax rate to be 25% or less, 2) capital gains rate of zero, 3) suspend all taxes on money brought back to the United States from overseas, 4) suspend all payroll taxes for a year, and 5) MAKE THEM ALL, except 4, PERMANENT because uncertainty it killing us!  12/3/11 He’s out, under suspicion of scandal.  His campaign is officially suspended.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX) – Aug. 2010 Perry tries to talk to Obama about illegal immigration coming over the Texas / Mexico border video. Obama wouldn’t even talk to Perry about the problem. 5/20/11 article taking a supportive stand with Israel.  5/23 – Perry is not in the race officially.  He is officially saying, like Christie, that he is not running. 5/27 Perry is thinking about entering he race, but he said he thinks about a lot of things.   6/17 Perry attended and won the straw poll at 2011 RLC, but I can’t find video yet.  Here is Perry’s speech from CPAC 2011 link.  6/20 Perry is not officially in the race. (I thought he announced on 6/14.) 8/12 Rick Perry doesn’t participate in Iowa.  8/13 Perry announces “He’s in!” 8/26 Link on Perry’s TX job numbers.  11/xx Perry could not name 3 federal agencies that should be eliminated, “Oops!”. 1/3/12 OUT!  1/4/12  He’s back in and on his way to South Carolina!

Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels (R-IN) – 5/19/11 article from the article “As governor of Indiana, he has slashed spending, balanced budgets and cut the rate of growth of the budget by more than half. He capped property taxes, enacted a school voucher program, defunded Planned Parenthood, lowered corporate tax rates and removed the requirement that forces state employees to pay union dues. He also limited collective bargaining for teachers, saving more precious tax dollars, instituted merit pay for teachers and cracked down on employers hiring illegal aliens.”  5/22 – Daniels is out! Saying something like ‘my country is important, but family is more important.’  5/23 -Indiana resident said he is great on the fiscal aspect, but his social positions stink.

Former Governor Tim Pawlenty (R-MN) – Supported Shari’a law in his state, before he rejected Shari’a law. His back-peddling from Shari’a link.  He supported Cap-and-Trade. (That’s two big strikes against him!)  5/23 – FoxNews reported this /morning that he just announcement his candidacy.  I can’t find an article or video.  What’s up?  5/29 Dick Morris’ opinion http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2ZoNBmMfxU&feature=relmfu  6/12 Pawlenty calls Obama and Romney out for using RomneyCare as the blueprint for ObamaCare, then coins the term ObamneyCare. 6/13 During the CNN Debate, some feel like Pawlenty missed his opportunity to stick it to Romney about Massachusetts’ failed healthcare mandates called Romneycare.  6/14 Exciting Things About Tim Pawlenty link. 8/15 He’s out!

Donald Trump (R?) – Supports Obamacare and the public option for healthcare.  Wants to see Obama’s birth certificate.  Of all of his political campaign donations, 63% have gone to Democrats.  So as much as I like what Trump says, I can’t trust a guy who would give any money to national-level Democrat campaigns.  Sorry.  5/9/11 FoxNews reports, “Trump is OUT!”

Former UT Gov. Jon Huntsman (R) – Ambassador to China under Obama (appointment by a Progressive Democrat, doesn’t assure me that he is a REAL conservative).  5/20 – My understanding is that the people of Utah are squarely against him running for president, because he is a big spender and in favor of amnesty. 6/18 Huntsman OUT of the race.  6/21 Officially announces he’s in the race.  Santorum releases a video spoofing Huntsman and Romney video link.  Huntsman still refusing to sign the anti-abortion pledge from the Susan B. Anthony List.  8/11 – Iowa Debate video clip.  1/15/12 – OUT!

Former Governor of New Mexico Gary Johnson (R), now running as a Libertarian (Lib) – 5/18 After the SC GOP debate, Johnson’s positions are not in alignment with Conservative values.   5/19 – His Utah 501(c)(4), Our American Initiative, was suspended for minor reporting violations http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0511/55324.html.  Johnson is very active in Utah for some reason.  1/13/12 – running as a Libertarian (Lib) for president now.

Former Governor of Massachusetts Mitt Romney (R-MA)  He signed law creating a state mandated medical insurance (everybody had to buy it and every employer had to provide it).  In 2008 or 2009, MA has purged 150,000 people from the public option insurance because the state could no longer provide care for the swelling rolls.  Romney also signed the first law allowing legal, statewide, gay marriage. 5/27  Someone said, “All the wrong people like him.” 5/29 Dick Morris’ opinion http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hyYmr1FsvI&feature=relmfu.  5/30 Romney and lobbyists link.  6/2 Announces his candidacy today! Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) Wants to end the Federal Reserving banking systems. Has called for the audit of the FedRes for years.  His lack of strength on foreign policy makes me nervous.  5/29 Dick Morris’s opinion http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOA_0_gLZlA. 1/3/12 -Allegations of racism from his numerous newsletters in the 1980′s and 1990′s.  Paul and Barney Frank teamed up to appoint member of a special committee where 11 of the 14 committee members from Sustainable Defense Task Force (to trim the military) are from George Soros’s foundations.  See GBTV episode from 1/3/12 where Glenn Beck fully outlines the relationships.

President Barack Hussein O’Bama (D) – Signed Stimulus I and II.  Stimulus I was rushed through Congress with the promise the if we can pass this bill in 48-hours, unemployment will not raise above 8%.  Auto Industry bailout and control of those companies (GM and  Chrysler).  Bank bailouts which essentially nationalize banking.  Signed Obamacare, even though 2/3 of the country did not want it. Within Obamacare, college admission for medical, nursing, dental, and veterinary schools are now controlled by the federal government.  College grants, scholarships and loans are now controlled by the federal government.  Within Obamacare, your financial records will be available in realtime to the federal government, if you use Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, or any public option plan.  Pelosi said, “We have to pass it to know what is in it,” and Obama didn’t rebuke her.  So that twisted thinking seems to be the Administration’s mindset. O’Bama has nominated the most Left-wing, Progressive to the Supreme Court, Sonia Sotomayor.  Has about 45 Czars in his administration – none of which are accountable to anyone except O’Bama!  The Republican Congress has been trying to gain oversight, but there has been no luck yet on Czar control.  He has made disrespectful statements about our closest foreign allies, England and Israel.  Has declared the US is no longer an Christian nation.  Acknowledges the dictator in Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, as well as, the Palestinian President Abbas and their Al Quaeda controlled Hamas government.  O’Bama wants Israel to return to the indefensible borders of 1967.  He has reached out to the Muslim world at breakneck speed and has appeased them in the Middle East.  While at the same time, O’Bama orders the killing of Osama and the immediate disposal of his body????  Has spent almost as much money in his first 2 years, than the entire rest of the country’s history.  We have a $14.3 trillion national debt, and he wants to raise it higher.   Has imposed a national moratorium on new oil drilling both on and off shore, shale extraction, and natural gas extraction.  Gasoline prices have doubled under his presidency, and are expected to continue up to Europe’s prices ($6-8 per gallon).  My electric bill has doubled.  Food prices are significantly higher.  Medical insurance premiums, in many states, have increased 30%.  Unemployment has remained near 10% for his whole presidency. —– You decide if you want another term.  Obama promised to close Gitmo immediately and bring the troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan, but he still hasn’t. 6/7 or 8 Obama still trying to convince the public we are in an economic recovery, and further clarified his lam point by actually saying the downturn in the housing market, jobs markets, stock market is just “a little headwind” in the recovery.  Does he really think anyone believes anything he says anymore?  6/13 Obama laughed and said, “Well, the shovel ready jobs weren’t so shovel ready.” Video  Video Does he think it’s funny to spend $1 trillion of our children’s money to get nothing? 8/17-27 Obama vacations in Martha’s Vineyard.  Travel around town with a 40-car motorcade for ice cream and two books. 8/23 After spending $1 billion in Libya, Obama Admin is complicity supporting a new Constitution for Libya based on Sharia Law. (That is crime against humanity.) Obama job approval lowest ever 38%, link. 8/23 Obama signs Executive Order 13583 usurping Congressional power for social justice and diversity (i.e., quotas) in federal hiring link.  Executive Order 13522 link “Creating Labor-Management Forums to Improve Delivery of Government Services” establishes labor union poster announcement for privates business to display to their workers alerting workers they can unionize, if the want to.    12/12/11 Played 88 rounds of golf in 2011, and there’s still 19 days left in the year and 17 days vacation in Hawaii. January 2012 – I don’t need the constitution to do the work of the people.  2/17/12 – Insurance companies must provide for free contraceptives, abortions, and sterilizations of workers in religious institutions like hospitals, universities, schools in spite of their philosophical objections.
