Behold, a great man.

Bush was a great man.  (I had my problems with his spending and limiting of freedoms.)  But he was a great and humble man.

About Christine

I believe in the CONSERVATIVE principles and values of the Republican Party as they are written, and not how they are currently practiced by today's RINO's. Smaller government, lower taxes, more personal responsibility, states' rights, free market capitalism, and less government intrusion in our lives!

  1. Charles Sharrard says:

I did not agree with all of his actions but I do know one thing for sure, he will always be one of my heros. His decisive action to respond to 9/11 saved Western Civilization.
As a DoD Disaster Recovery and Continuity Of Operations Planner I was privy to natioonal security briefings on threats to our country. President Bush took immediate action to strike at the Command and Control structure, world-wide finances and disrupted planning for other ongoing operations planned by Alqueida. Terroists attacks take 3 to 5 years to plan and execute. Normally they have multiple actions being planned at any one time. We can thank God that Al (Mr., I invented the Internet) Gore didn’t win the 2000 election. To this day he would still be poling to determine what he should do. There would have multiple horrific attacks with Al (“Make me happy”) Gore in charge.
Bush did exactly the right thing, at exactly the right time. Instead of 3000 killed there could well have been hundreds of thousands killed without his decisive action to go after the 911 murders. He did this because it was the right thing to do for the country, he knew this could cause him to fail in a second bid for the Presidency. He put his country before his political self-interest. For this he was and will always be a hero to me.
By the way, in case anyone has doubts, I saw horrific evidence that Saddam had and used weapons of mass destruction against his own people. I one instance he killed 5000 Kurds by poison gas after a failed revoltion attempt. He had WMDs, used them against his own people and had we not told him in no uncertain terms what we would do to him if he used them against our troops, he would have used them against allied troops. There would have been multiple parabolic mirrors burned into the sands of Iraq had he used WMDs against us. They were moved before the invaision to Syria, Jordan, or hidden in the vast expanses of Iraq.
